Vehicle Technician

We are seeking to appoint a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage situated in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established business operating from a state-of-the-art facility. Benefits:

Basic salary circa £42,000, with higher pay available for Senior or Master Technicians
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5pm

Carry out vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Liaise with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Keep work area clean and organised, ensuring a safe working environment
Support junior team members when requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
