Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work across the UK. Our client is based across Woking & Bicester, but there will be UK based travel on a regular basis.

Job Details:

Pay: Up to £40 per hour Outside IR35 (Limited) - Depending on experience
Hours of Work: 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Duration: Rolling contract
Working for a prestigious, premium, Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer
Working on a variety of exciting projects across the UK

Job Role - Supplier Quality Engineer:

Conduct supplier process & quality assessments
Support supplier development and improvement initiatives
Acting as an extension of the Clients Customers quality teams
Supporting suppliers during new product launches
Supporting critical programmes and helping customers achieve their quality & delivery objectives
Providing on site support at customer locations where required
This role will involve travelling to customers across the Country, so you MUST be willing to travel as part of this role
Maintain accurate reports
Review and monitor quality planning activities including APQP and PPAP
8D problem solving
Attending customer & supplier meetings, providing status updates
Validate implementation of corrective actions
Participate in launch readiness reviews and production validation activities
Essential Skills Experience, or Qualifications:

A good level of experience within Automotive Supplier Quality
Experience working within OEM / Tier 1 Manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of PPAP and APQP
Experience in conducting supplier assessments / audits
Proven problem solving capabilities using structured methodologies and tools
Driving Licence and own vehicle
Willingness to Travel
Desired Skills Experience, or Qualifications

Lead Auditor qualification
VDA 6.3 Auditor qualification
Experience supporting Launch or Industrialisation activities
Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements
Experience in 1 or more of the following: Composites, Powertrain & Machining, Electrical systems, Mechatronics, Interior Trim, External Trim
Commutable From: Woking, Bicester, Reading, High Wycombe, Oxford, Banbury, London
