Job title: Quality Inspector
Location: Abingdon
Rate: £18ph
Job type: 6 month contract
Shift: Rotational shift – 6am to 2.45pm and 2.30pm to 11.15pm
The role of a Quality Inspector will include:
Perform quality control inspections on incoming stock, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.
Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products.
Document and report inspection results, including non-conformances, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Monitor production processes to identify potential areas for improvement and propose process optimisations.
Liaise with other operators and Operational teams to address Quality issues.
The ideal Quality Inspector should have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience as a Quality Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and data entry systems.
