Vision for Education are working in partnership with a high-performing, three-form entry primary school in Cambrdge, who are seeking an experienced and committed SENDCo to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEND specialist to take on a key leadership role within a welcoming, well-resourced and community-focused school. This part-time has flexiablity around working days.
About the Role
Lead and manage SEND provision across the school, including Nursery
Oversee the day-to-day coordination of SEN supportand provision
Work closely with SLT to drive inclusive practice and school improvement
Manage and review EHCPs, SEN Support Plans and interventions
Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes
Support and guide teaching staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching
Play a key role in developing SEND strategy and provision across the school
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National SENCo Award(or working towards)
Strong experience supporting children with a range ofSEND needs
Solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
Experience managing EHCPs and working with external agencies
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
A proactive, child-centred and collaborative approach
