TPF Recruitment is supporting a friendly and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Sevenoaks with the recruitment of a Senior Practice Accountant to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients and be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Preparing corporation tax returns and supporting personal tax compliance work
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team and providing support and mentoring
Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping assignments where required
Supporting managers and partners with advisory projects and business development activities
Liaising directly with clients to provide practical and commercial advice
Working closely with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
Requirements
Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
Have at least 4 years' experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Have strong experience preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
Be confident managing client relationships independently
Have experience reviewing junior staff work or mentoring colleagues
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
Benefits
£50,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
