The Successful Teacher of English Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom management skills
A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring a love of English
The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
