Night Shift Engineer (Electrical Biased)

£53,500
Monday-Friday Perm Nights 10pm-6am (Early Finish Fridays)

Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an experienced electrical biased maintenance engineer, to work on their night shift.
Role & Responsibilities of the Night Shift Engineer:
Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on production machinery
Working alongside and supported by shift engineers for breakdowns on production lines
Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs
Dealing with high-speed production, processing & packaging machinery
PLC's, automation, control systems, VSD's, AC Drives
Electrical safety, LOTO, isolation
Installation & commissioning of new machinery
Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be the Night Shift Engineer:
Looking for a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased
Must have electrical qualifications
At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship
Ideally have competed a formal apprenticeship scheme
NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher
Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
Computer literate - able to use SAP systems
Experience of working with hydraulics, pneumatics, VSD's, power transmission drive systems
PLC - electrical fault finding skills
Steam systems experience would be beneficial
