A leading aerospace manufacturing business in Redditch is seeking a Quality Manager to take ownership of product quality across its precision engineering operation. This position is ideally suited to either an experienced Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer looking to progress into a management role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving product quality standards, reducing non-conformances, improving manufacturing quality performance, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently achieved across the business.
The Role Reporting into senior management, responsibilities will include:
Leading all product quality activities across manufacturing
Managing customer quality concerns and driving effective corrective actions
Reducing scrap, rework, and non-conformance levels across production
Conducting root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques
Supporting inspection and manufacturing teams to improve right-first-time performance
Managing internal and external quality issues with customers and suppliers
Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards
Leading internal audits and supporting external customer audits
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process capability
Developing and improving quality procedures, controls, and reporting methodsAbout You The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within aerospace, precision engineering, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of product quality within a manufacturing setting
Experience managing NCRs, CAPA, and customer quality issues
Knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
The ability to lead quality improvements across production operations
Previous leadership experience or the ambition to step into a management roleWhat’s on Offer
