Our client are market leaders in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
* This Senior Quality Engineer role requires a self-motivated, proactive professional with exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
* The position involves maintaining quality systems, standards, and excellent customer PPM performance across all interior trim moulding and assembly operations.
* In this Senior Quality Engineer capacity, you will work closely with major suppliers, major automotive customers, and internal project teams.
* As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting all Interiors Quality Assurance activities across the manufacturing facility
* Your responsibilities will encompass QRQC activity management, customer liaison, quality audits, calibration oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives, including kaizen and PHA activities.
* The Senior Quality Engineer will stand in for the Quality Assurance Manager when required and ensure APQP/TS16949 documentation and standards are maintained and adhered to across all operations.
About You
* Minimum HNC level qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, ideally CPM or injection moulding.
* Process auditing experience with IATF/ISO auditor qualification (preferred).
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
