Location: Hybrid/Remote (Project Dependent)
Contract: Permanent/Contract
The OpportunityWe are supporting a global organisation that is looking for an experienced Service Transition Manager to lead the transition of SAP Analytics and Data services into a fully operational support model.
This is a key role within a large-scale transformation programme, responsible for ensuring a seamless handover from project delivery into Business-as-Usual (BAU). You'll work across multiple internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to establish robust governance, operational readiness, and service management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end service transition activities across analytics and reporting services
- Manage knowledge transfer, documentation, SOPs, and service readiness deliverables
- Coordinate operational readiness across internal teams and third-party providers
- Define and implement support models, governance frameworks, and service acceptance criteria
- Oversee cutover, hypercare, and stabilisation activities to ensure a smooth transition into BAU
- Manage RAID logs, risks, dependencies, and transition plans
- Ensure support processes, security, tooling, and access controls are fully operational
- Drive continuous communication across technical and business stakeholders
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering Service Transition or Managed Service programmes
- Experience within SAP Analytics, SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or enterprise reporting environments
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), governance, SLAs, incident management, and operational readiness
- Experience coordinating multiple delivery teams, suppliers, and third parties
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and modern delivery practices
- Understanding of CI/CD, code versioning, transport management, backlog management, and multi-environment deployments
- Experience planning and managing cutover, hypercare, and service stabilisation
