Internal Sales Administrator
Imperial Recruitment Group are working with a key client who are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Administrator on a permanent basis.
Main Purpose:
The Internal Sales Administrator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by managing customer accounts efficiently and ensuring customer requirements are met from enquiry through to order completion. Working closely with internal departments, the successful candidate will support the sales function by processing orders, maintaining accurate customer records, resolving customer issues and ensuring service levels are achieved.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience at every stage.
* Process and administer customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with Planning and Operations to ensure customer orders are delivered in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Maintain and update customer information using the CRM system.
* Administer customer pricing agreements and monitor validity periods.
* Process and manage customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and issues effectively.
* Utilise internal systems and resources to deliver a high standard of customer service.
* Produce customer service data and reports to support business performance.
* Assist with customer service projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain and report on the customer order book.
* Review and update agreed product lead times with relevant internal departments.
* Attend regular order book review meetings.
* Create new part numbers and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
* Coordinate plant certificates between customers and the Technical department to support production requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service or sales administration role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
* Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
* Excellent telephone manner and customer relationship skills.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through and resolve outstanding issues.
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
