Project Manager – Air Conditioning & Ventilation

London

Up to £65,000 + package

Car allowance, Zone 1 to 6 travel card, bonus structure and strong earning potential OTE

I am working with a growing air conditioning and ventilation specialist who are looking to add a Project Manager to their London team.

The business delivers a wide range of AC and ventilation projects across London, with a strong focus on banks, leisure, hotels and commercial environments. They have a strong project pipeline and are keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who can take ownership of multiple schemes and help drive projects forward properly.

This role would suit someone with a strong technical background in air conditioning and ventilation, ideally someone who has previously worked on the tools as a fitter, engineer or supervisor before moving into project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from handover through to completion, ensuring works are planned properly, subcontractors are managed effectively, RAMS and technical submissions are site specific, and financials are tracked throughout the

project.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple AC and ventilation projects across London

• Planning works ahead and ensuring engineers and subcontractors know what is required

• Reading and understanding drawings, programmes and technical information

• Managing subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered correctly

• Tracking project costs, variations, orders and financial performance

• Producing and reviewing site specific RAMS and project documentation

• Liaising with clients, main contractors and internal teams

• Breaking down main contractor programmes into workable package plans

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience within air conditioning and ventilation projects

• A background as an AC fitter, engineer, supervisor or technically focused PM

• The ability to read and understand AC and ventilation drawings

• Strong client facing skills

• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

• Good commercial understanding, including variations and cost tracking

• The ability to plan ahead rather than react day to day

• Experience managing multiple projects at once

• A practical, organised and proactive approach

The company has recently introduced Fieldwire to support drawings, checklists, site information and progress reporting, so any experience using similar project management systems would be beneficial.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a genuinely flexible and practical culture. The company values work life balance and offers flexibility where needed, including time back for Saturday working, early finishes where possible, team lunches, client events and a real give and take environment. It isn't just preached about, it is genuinely practiced.

Package includes:

• Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience

• Car allowance

• Zone 1 to 6 travel card

• Bonus structure

• £5,000 bonus once GP threshold is achieved

• Further bonus potential above this

• Realistic OTE of around £100,000 for strong performance

This is a brilliant opportunity for an AC and ventilation Project Manager who wants to join a business where they can make a genuine impact, take pressure off the senior team and be rewarded properly for doing the job well.
