Quality & Compliance Officer - Temporary (Potential to Extend) / £17.95 per hour / Nottinghamshire
I'm recruiting on behalf of a well‑established wholesale and distribution company based in Nottinghamshire. They are looking for an immediately available Quality & Compliance professional to support their operations team during a key period, with a particular focus on ISO9001 and preparation for an upcoming audit.
This is an initial temporary position with the potential to extend, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure ISO9001 compliance
Produce clear, concise compliance reports for management
Support investigations and contribute to corrective action plans
Act as a point of contact between operations, senior leadership, and wider teams
Stay up to date with relevant standards, regulations, and environmental requirements
Provide practical coaching and guidance to colleagues
Support RFIs/RFQs and collaborate with external auditors
Assist with process improvement workshops
Advise on waste management plans and support facilities where requiredIdeal Candidate Profile
Available immediately
Strong understanding of ISO9001
Experience with internal and external audit processes
Analytical, logical, and commercially aware
Confident communicator across all levels
IT‑literate with the ability to analyse data and produce structured reports
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to group sites if neededThe role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Based on site
25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
