Site Manager – Viaduct Project (Forfar Area)
A well‑established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a viaduct project in the Forfar area. The works include structure stabilisation, scour protection, and extensive piling operations.
The project will commence in the next few weeks and run for approximately 4–5 months, with the team working every second weekend.
Key Responsibilities
Managing site operations — Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of piling, stabilisation and civils works.
Subcontractor supervision — Coordinate labour, plant and subcontract teams to maintain productivity.
Health & Safety leadership — Ensure full compliance with RAMS, deliver briefings and promote safe working.
Programme management — Track progress, identify risks, and support short‑term planning.
Quality assurance — Monitor workmanship, sign off completed works, and maintain site records.
Requirements
SMSTS & First Aid
Strong background in civils, ideally with piling or stabilisation experience
Proven leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage safety, quality, and programme effectively
