The Role – Year 5 Teacher
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join the team from September 2026.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge pupils, while supporting their academic and personal development in upper Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership staff
Contribute to the wider school communityRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5)
Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
A passion for teaching and supporting children’s development
Strong communication and organisational skillsWhat the School Offers
