We are currently supporting a well-established creative education provider in the appointment of an Animation Lead Tutor to join their specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional or experienced educator to deliver engaging, hands-on learning to aspiring animators within a dynamic and creative learning environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging animation and digital media lessons to learners pursuing creative industry pathways.
Support students in developing practical animation, design, and production skills.
Guide learners through project-based work, helping them build strong portfolios and showcase their creativity.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
Promote positive learner engagement, wellbeing, and safeguarding.
Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative creative projects.
Support learners in preparing for assessments and progression into higher education or employment. The Ideal Candidate
Must have valid Enhanced DBS
Degree or equivalent qualification in Animation, Digital Arts, Games Design, Media, or a related discipline.
Strong industry knowledge of animation workflows and production processes.
Experience using software such as Blender, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar.
Passion for developing and mentoring young creative talent.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Previous teaching, training, tutoring, or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential.
