Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire (RG42)
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

We're working with an ambitious provider that is opening a flagship, purpose-built Children's Residential Home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bracknell.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new, high-specification home from the ground up. The home will offer a therapeutic environment with six spacious en-suite bedrooms and professionally landscaped gardens, all designed to provide outstanding care and support for young people.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the registration process and secure Ofsted registration for the home.

* Develop and implement robust policies, procedures and therapeutic care practices in line with Ofsted regulations.

* Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing residential care team.

* Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, driving high standards of care with the goal of achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Children's Services and commissioning teams to support referrals and occupancy.

* Manage budgets, occupancy levels and overall operational performance.

* Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment where young people can thrive.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

* A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes.

* Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, developing and retaining residential care teams.

* Excellent knowledge of children's home legislation, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.

* Established relationships with Local Authorities and commissioning teams would be advantageous.

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

* Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
