We are currently recruiting for the position of Workshop Controller on behalf of a reputable prestige main car dealership located in Watford, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a busy workshop environment and contribute to the continued success of the dealership.
Our client offers a competitive basic salary and bonus potential, along with excellent benefits and career development prospects within a well-established dealer group. The Workshop Controller will oversee a team of 16 technicians, 4 apprentices, and coordinate a team of service advisors.
Benefits for the successful Workshop Controller:
Basic salary of £36,000, with potential earnings up to £50,000 including bonuses
Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, with rota Saturday work if required

Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop environmentRequirements:
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Advisor, or similar managerial role

Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of workshop processes and vehicle repair procedures
A customer-focused approach combined with sound technical understanding
