Contract: Fixed term until 5 September 2027, part time (17.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday)
Salary: £23,311 – £24,000 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Burford, Radcliffe or Newport (hybrid working)

We are looking for a Resourcing Administrator to join our People and People Services directorate, providing high-quality administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in delivering a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This is a single role that can be based at either our Burford, Radcliffe or Newport site, with hybrid working in place. We are keen to appoint as soon as possible, so we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and inviting shortlisted candidates to interview as they apply.
More about the role
You will support the end-to-end recruitment process, helping to ensure vacancies are managed efficiently, candidates are kept informed, and hiring managers receive a consistent and professional service. Working closely with Resourcing Partners and the Resourcing Coordinator, you will contribute to both high-volume and specialist recruitment activity across the charity. What you will be doing

Providing administrative support across the full recruitment lifecycle, from advert creation through to onboarding

Coordinating interviews, including scheduling, diary management and candidate communications

Managing candidate communications, including acknowledgements, updates and rejections

Supporting recruitment campaigns by posting adverts, updating roles and managing applicant tracking workflows

Assisting with application checks and assessment activities following clear guidance

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within recruitment systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance

Supporting onboarding activity, including offer administration, contracts, references and pre-employment checks

Responding to queries from candidates and hiring managers in a timely and professional manner

Supporting the delivery of assessment and selection activities, including assessment centres

Assisting with recruitment content on LinkedIn and other platforms

Providing administrative support for recruitment-related projects and continuous improvement activity

Working collaboratively with the wider resourcing team, escalating queries where appropriate

About you
You will be a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. With strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you will be confident supporting both candidates and internal stakeholders.

You will take a professional and collaborative approach, handling sensitive information with discretion while contributing positively to the team environment.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Demonstrable experience of working in a busy administrative role

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interact confidently with candidates and internal stakeholders

Experience of using IT systems, including MS Office and web-based systems or databases

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Ability to demonstrate understanding and application of Blue Cross values
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Experience of working within recruitment or HR administration

Experience of using applicant tracking systems

Experience supporting high-volume or fast-paced operational processes
