Production Operative

Proactive Staff are recruiting production operatives to work on a busy farm in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity for staff who are looking to work a lot of hours.
Benefits:
• Hours: 7:15am – 5/6/7pm, Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend overtime
• £12.71 per hour (+ 40hrs a week is overtime @ 125% or £15.89 p/h)
• Lots of overtime available!
• Translation and interpreters available for most languages, so none English speaking staff welcome.
• Great, modern, clean welfare facilities such as canteen, lockers and changing area
• Parking and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
Role Overview:
This role involves quality checking, trimming, sorting and packing vegetables. This work is very physically demanding and requires staff to stand for long periods. In return a great opportunity to earn great money in a pleasant, friendly environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Trimming and packing vegetables
• Follow food hygiene and safety rules at all times
• Work as team, whilst having own initiative
• Ability to stand and work long hours
Skills and experience:
• Previous experience working in agricultural setting essential
• Ability to demonstrate you have work demanding roles or worked long hours in the past
• Must be reliable and have great time keeping and attendance
• Must be able to provide recent working references
