£13.2 - £13.2 Hourly
Contract/Project
Are you a motivated, reliable individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment? Do you want to work for a prestigious, large global manufacturer that actively invests in your professional growth? If you are practical, hands-on, and ready to fast-track your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What's in it for You?

Pay: £13.20 per hour.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (37.5 hours per week). No weekend or night shift rotations!

Contract: 12-month initial contract.

Career Progression: A structured training pathway is in place to support you in moving from a Technician I to a Manufacturing Technician II role within your first 12 months.

The Role: What You'll Do

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the daily production and packaging cycle. Initially, your focus will be on packing various containers filled with chemical products safely and efficiently. As you gain experience and complete your training, you will graduate to operating the chemical filling machinery itself.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Packing chemical products into multiple container styles and outer packaging according to specific works orders.

Operating both manual and automatic processing, labeling, and packaging equipment.

Weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials to ensure absolute batch accuracy.

Conducting quality control checks, matching batch and chemical code numbers to ensure compliance.

Palletizing, strapping, or stretch-wrapping completed loads for safe transit to the warehouse.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and highly efficient workspace by following 5S, Kaizen, and autonomous maintenance standards.

Who Are We Looking For?

You don't need a highly technical background or decades of manufacturing experience to succeed here. Our client values the right attitude above all else.

To be successful, you must be:

Safety-conscious: A strong awareness of environmental, health, and safety practices (COSHH, manual handling) is crucial.

Detail-oriented: You must have good reading, writing, and basic computer skills to accurately follow procedures and log transactions.

A team player: Reliable, motivated, and excited to learn new processes to support your colleagues.

If you are ready to secure a stable day shift position with an incredible global manufacturer, we want to hear from you today!
