Connect Appointments are recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to join our Musselburgh based manufacturing client.

What's on offer?

Full-time ongoing position
Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Paid weekly at £12.71 per hourAs a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be working within the production team to support the assemble and electrical wiring of a variety of products. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Reading and following wiring diagrams, schematics, and build instructions
Fitting looms, connectors, sensors, and control components
Carrying out basic electrical checks and visual inspections
Making sure all wiring meets quality, safety, and specification standards
Helping the team stay on track to hit daily and weekly production targets
Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
Working closely with other teamsTo be successful, you'll have previous experience in wiring, electrical assembly or manufacturing. Combined with the following skills, traits and experiences:

Happy to carry out repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail
Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
A strong understanding of electrical safety within a manufacturing environment
