Are you an experienced SEND professional looking for a focused, impactful role in a supportive Haringey school? We are looking for an Assistant SENCo or a highly experienced SEND practitioner to work directly alongside our Lead SENCo to drive standards and provide high-quality support for our most vulnerable learners.
The Role:This is a 10-hour-per-week position designed to offer flexibility. We are happy to discuss a schedule that fits your life, with available blocks including mornings (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM) or afternoons (1:30 PM – 4:00 PM) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
* EHCP Management: Drafting, reviewing, and ensuring the quality of EHCP documentation.
* Assessment & Monitoring: Conducting pre- and post-intervention assessments to track pupil progress.
* Strategic Support: Writing Individual Provision Plans (IPPs) and collaborating with the Lead SENCo to streamline SEND processes.
* Operational Excellence: Providing high-level administrative and strategic support to ensure all SEND pupils are receiving their statutory requirements.

* You have a solid background in SEND within a primary setting.
* You are confident in navigating the EHCP process and have a proven ability to write effective, target-driven IPPs.
* You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to hit the ground running.
