Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Future Primary Teacher Opportunity - September 2026 - Haringey
Are you a newly qualified ECT looking to gain additional classroom experience before taking on your own class in September 2027?
A highly regarded 3-form entry Primary School in Haringey is seeking an ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team from September 2026.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role has been designed for candidates who enjoy working closely with pupils whilst developing their teaching practice. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will lead Maths interventions, support small group learning, and occasionally take responsibility for a Year 5 class during parts of the school day when the class teacher is unavailable.
Planning and resources will be provided, allowing the Higher Level Teaching Assistant to focus on lesson delivery, classroom management, and pupil engagement.
