Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Friday: 1:00pm – 9:30pm

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a leading commercial fleet company based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to secure a permanent role with strong earning potential, structured hours, and no weekend working.
This HGV Technician position offers a stable 40-hour week, competitive hourly pay, and overtime paid at time and a half.

Long-term stability with an established businessThe Role:As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

Routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out inspections and MOT preparation
Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company safety standards
Completing all job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
Supporting workshop efficiency and uptimeRequirements:To be considered for this HGV Technician role, you will need:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Good knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDealbreaker (Essential Requirement): Minimum Class 2 HGV Licence – applications without this licence cannot be considered.
