Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the mechanical delivery of major stadium infrastructure upgrades.

The role will focus on the installation of new water infrastructure, plant equipment, booster sets, storage tanks, water heaters and associated pipework systems. Particular emphasis will be placed on managing the interface between new and existing services within a live operational stadium environment.

The successful candidate will provide on-site leadership, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safe, efficient delivery from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all mechanical construction activities on site.

* Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and labour teams.

* Oversee installation of:

* Water storage tanks

* Booster sets

* Pressurisation equipment

* Water heaters

* Plantroom infrastructure

* Associated mechanical pipework systems

* Plan and manage tie-ins to existing infrastructure.

* Coordinate service diversions and shutdown activities.

* Review drawings and identify installation challenges.

* Resolve interface issues between existing and new services.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

* Monitor programme performance and construction progress.

* Chair and attend coordination meetings.

* Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

* Maintain quality records and construction documentation.

Essential Experience

* Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager, Mechanical Site Manager or Senior Mechanical Supervisor.

* Strong building services and mechanical infrastructure background.

* Experience delivering plantroom and water infrastructure projects.

* Knowledge of pipework systems, tanks, pumps and water services.

* Experience working within occupied or operational environments.

* Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery.

Qualifications

* SMSTS

* CSCS Card

* First Aid (preferred)

* Mechanical Trade Background (Plumbing, Pipefitting or Building Services Engineering)

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role would suit a mechanically biased Construction Manager with extensive building services experience, capable of assessing existing infrastructure, planning complex tie-ins and leading installation teams through the delivery of new plantroom and water services infrastructure within a live stadium environment
