Yolk Legal are working with a highly regarded South Wales law firm who are looking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join their established and growing property team in Newport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level solicitor to develop their career within commercial property, managing a varied caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive and well-structured team.

What you'll be doing

Managing a varied commercial property caseload in line with firm procedures and professional standards
Providing clear, timely and accurate updates to clients throughout transactions
Undertaking a range of property work including acquisitions, disposals, leases and general commercial property matters
Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and third parties
Ensuring full confidentiality and regulatory compliance at all times
Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Contributing to the ongoing development and promotion of the firm's services

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) with experience or a strong interest in Commercial Property
Good understanding of commercial property transactions and processes
Strong communication and client care skills
Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and commercial approach to your work
Willingness to develop and progress within the team
