Remote with office visits (Nottingham and Wymondham - Norwich)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on EC&I design and delivery work (not project management)
Produce and update key deliverables: cable schedules, I/O lists, SLDs, cause & effect, load schedules
Develop control philosophies and functional design specifications
Proven experience with Fire/Gas/Security systems
Perform cable sizing, load analysis, and protection studies
Support functional safety (LOPA, SIL, IEC 61508 / 61511)
Work on PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal / Allen Bradley)
Produce EC&I documentation packs (BOMs, RFQs, schedules, test docs)
Use AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
Support panel design, build, wiring, FAT and SAT
Work in hazardous areas (ATEX / COMPEX / NORSOK compliant environments)
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years EC&I design experience
Offshore Energy / Oil & Gas background
Strong EC&I design and documentation skills
AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
PLC knowledge (Siemens S7 / Allen Bradley)
Cable sizing, circuit protection, and electrical design knowledge
Experience with hazardous area equipment and systems
Able to work hands-on in a delivery-focused role (not management)
DESIRABLE:
Experience in offshore or subsea energy projects
Exposure to cybersecurity considerations in industrial control systems
Experience with both design office and site/FAT environments
