Our client, a well-established logistics and haulage solutions specialist with an excellent reputation within the industry, is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated individual with a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for generating new business through effective cold-calling and business development activities, while promoting and highlighting our client's products and value-added services. You may also be required to undertake additional duties, within your capabilities, to meet the evolving needs of the business.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a proven track record in freight sales and business development. It is essential that you possess the ability to build and maintain strong, influential client relationships, alongside excellent negotiation skills and a demonstrable ability to successfully close sales
