A respected independent consultancy is looking to appoint an Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor to support the continued growth of its specialist team.
The successful candidate will work on a range of infrastructure and enabling works projects, providing commercial expertise from early-stage feasibility through to final account.
This position offers significant autonomy, exposure to high-profile schemes and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with an established client base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing infrastructure cost plans and estimates.
* Advising on project viability and development costs.
* Managing procurement and tender processes.
* Cost control, reporting and forecasting.
* Administration of contracts and management of change.
* Valuations and agreement of final accounts.
* Supporting the delivery of highways, drainage, utilities and external works packages.
* Building effective relationships with clients and project teams.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Experience within infrastructure and/or civil engineering projects.
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
* Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* MRICS status, or aspirations to achieve chartership.
