HR Administrator (Part-Time)
Salary: £29,000 pro rata
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Flexible)
Contract: FTC – 6 months
Are you an organised and detail-oriented HR professional looking for a part-time opportunity within a busy and supportive HR team?
We are seeking an HR Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across a range of employee relations and HR processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional service to stakeholders at all levels.
The Role
As HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities. Responsibilities will include:
* Processing payroll-related changes, contract variations, secondments and employee data updates within HR systems
* Managing post-offer administration, including onboarding documentation, DBS processes and right-to-work checks
* Responding to employment reference requests
* Providing note-taking support for disciplinary, grievance and other employee relations meetings
* Maintaining organisational charts and employee records
* Handling HR-related queries, including pay, flexible working and employment terms and conditions
* Supporting employee engagement initiatives, including annual staff surveys
* Assisting with the organisation and administration of HR and Employee Relations training events
* Providing general administrative support to the wider HR team as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR Support role
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience handling confidential information with discretion
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
* Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
