Manufacturing Engineer

We're currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join an internationally established manufacturing team on a long term contract (outside IR35) . You'll play a key role in improving processes, optimising equipment, reducing waste, and supporting new product launches while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

*Support and document production trials and equipment acceptance activities.

*Develop and implement process and equipment improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce scrap.

*Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

*Develop plant layouts and conduct capacity studies.

*Support PFMEA, DFM/A, ergonomic assessments, and engineering documentation.

*Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement solutions.

*Promote and maintain strong 5S, Health & Safety, and quality standards.

About You

*Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

*Manufacturing or industrial process experience.

*Strong understanding of process flow and plant layout.

*Proficient in AutoCAD.

*Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential.
