Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Client:

Interaction Recruitment are supporting a well-established engineering company delivering complex rotating machinery solutions, with a growing focus on renewable energy projects.

Monday–Friday days, 40 hours per week

The Role:

Lead design of rotating machinery (stators, rotors, assemblies)
Support projects from concept through to delivery
Use simulation tools to validate designs
Assist with testing, commissioning, and diagnostics
Produce technical reports and documentation
Work closely with design and manufacturing teams
Carry out fault finding and failure analysis

The Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
Experience with rotating equipment (motors, generators, turbines, pumps)
Strong mechanical design and analysis skills (
Background in diagnostics and testing
Good communication and teamwork skills
