This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to drive high standards of achievement, inspire a team of dedicated staff, and ensure that every student develops confidence and excellence in mathematics.
We are looking for a passionate educator who combines strong subject knowledge with strategic leadership skills and a commitment to delivering an outstanding educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Mathematics Department.
* Lead curriculum development across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Monitor and raise standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
* Support, develop, and manage departmental staff through coaching and professional development.
* Use assessment data effectively to improve outcomes for all learners.
* Promote a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and academic excellence.
* Contribute to the wider leadership and development of the school.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
* Proven success as a classroom practitioner with a strong track record of improving student outcomes.
* Experience of curriculum leadership or middle leadership within a secondary school setting.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
