Job Responsibilities
Operate production machinery to perform specific operations or produce parts according to specifications.
Set up machines, load raw materials, and ensure proper functioning before commencing production runs.
Manually operate machines during production, monitoring performance and quality.
Unload finished products from machines and prepare them for next stages or packaging.
Follow written or verbal instructions and adhere to general operating procedures.
Identify potential issues or problems during operation and escalate as necessary.
Maintain control over product quality, ensuring standards are consistently met.
Perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems for recording production data.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience operating production machinery is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions accurately.
Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts as required.
Health and safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.
