Job Title: Machine Operator (Approx. 3 month temp)
Location: Newton Aycliffe, County Durham
Pay rate: £18.38ph
Shifts: 3 shift pattern
Overview:
An established international manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join its production team at its Newton Aycliffe facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery in line with standard operating procedures
Ensure consistent product quality by performing regular checks and inspections
Troubleshoot minor machine faults and escalate issues where necessary
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Experience operating machinery or automated equipment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work 3 shift pattern
