Senior Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a successful and expanding construction business based in Warwickshire / East Mids.

Working closely with the Commercial Director and operational teams, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from tender handover through to final account.

This position offers genuine influence within the business and would suit someone looking for autonomy, responsibility and progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects

* Procurement and subcontract management

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* CVRs and financial reporting

* Risk and opportunity management

* Variations and change control

* Client and consultant liaison

* Final account negotiations

* Mentoring junior commercial staff where required

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

* Main contractor experience preferred

* Strong contractual knowledge

* Ability to manage projects independently

* Excellent commercial and negotiation skills

* Degree qualified or equivalent desirable
