A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
Support children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs
Assist the class teacher in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and parents to support pupil progress
Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
Patient, caring and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
