Child Buddy – SEND Schools | Brighton & Hove | September Start
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of SEND schools across Brighton & Hove and are looking to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic Child Buddies to support pupils with additional needs from September.
This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Are you friendly, proactive, and approachable?
Do you have experience supporting children or young people with SEND?
Can you use your initiative and adapt to different situations throughout the school day?
Are you looking for a full-time role from September in the Brighton & Hove area?

Role Details:
Location: Brighton & Hove
Travel: Accessible by bus or car
Pay: £360–£460 per week
Experience: SEND experience preferred
DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent opportunities available
⏰ Hours: 8:30am – 3:50pm, Monday to Friday
As a Child Buddy, you will provide tailored support to primary and secondary-aged pupils with additional needs, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
