Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEND school in Brighton that is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join their team on a full-time basis from September for the new academic year.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups with a range of additional needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly PMLD and ASC.
Be proactive, resilient, and able to adapt to changing situations.
Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Be confident in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours.
Be passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.
What’s on offer?
Full-time role starting in September.
Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Weekly pay between £360 - £460, depending on experience.
Ongoing support and guidance from Teaching Personnel.
