We are currently recruiting for the position of LCV Technician on behalf of our client in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional seeking stability and professional growth within a reputable automotive business.
Our client is looking for a dedicated LCV Technician to join their workshop team, providing high-quality diagnostic and repair services on vans. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling complex fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs, and maintaining high safety standards.
Benefits for the Successful Van Technician:
* Basic salary of £37,000
* Potential earnings of up to £41,000 with overtime and bonuses
* 40 hours per week, with various shift patterns available

Duties as a LCV / Van Technician:
* Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles, primarily vans
* Identify and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults
* Perform inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and DVSA standards
* Assist with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and other general workshop tasks
* Maintain detailed records of repairs and diagnostics
* Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements for the Van Technician Position:
* Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) or passenger vehicles
* Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to pinpoint faults efficiently
* Ability to handle electrical and mechanical repairs to a high standard
* Valid UK driving licence is essential
* A desire to deliver excellent customer service and maintain workshop standards
