Location: Blaydon, North East England
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a meticulous quality professional ready to make an impact? We're seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards. As our Quality Inspector, you'll conduct thorough inspections of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted, and laser-cut components, working with precision equipment in an ISO-controlled environment.

Your key responsibilities as Quality Inspector will include:

* Performing first-off, patrol, batch, and visual inspections using precision measurement tools

* Identifying and reporting deviations, defects, and non-conformities promptly

* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions

* Maintaining accurate inspection records and updating our ERP system

* Completing First Article inspection reports to client specifications

* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process development

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Experience:

* Minimum 2 years as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment

* Strong knowledge of quality control principles and ISO standards

* Proficiency with measurement tools and precision inspection equipment

* Ability to read technical drawings and CAD software

* Competence in Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills:

* CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience

* Knowledge of quality management systems

Personal Qualities:
The ideal Quality Inspector will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. You must be capable of liaising with customers, suppliers, and management at all levels, with a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards
