Junior Tekla Detailer

JUNIOR TEKLA DETAILER

JN Technical is recruiting a Junior Tekla Detailer on behalf of a UK structural steel contractor. You’ll assist in delivering large‑scale steelwork packages across multiple sectors while developing your detailing skills.

Key Responsibilities

*

Support the creation of accurate Tekla Structures models for building and steel structures in line with project specifications.

*

Produce fabrication and GA drawings from client and design team information.

*

Generate NC data and component drawings for workshop use.

*

Assist in preparing reports and exports for STRUMIS fabrication software.

*

Maintain drawing accuracy and deadlines in accordance with project programmes.

*

Apply current UK drawing practices and standards under senior guidance.

*

Manage workload effectively while maintaining high attention to detail.

Requirements

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel detailing.

*

Working knowledge of Tekla Structures and 3D steel modelling.

*

Exposure to the UK steel fabrication industry.

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

*

Strong communication and time‑management skills
