A leading UK manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team at a high-volume production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for either mechanically or electrically biased engineers, provided you are comfortable working on electrical systems and fault finding within a modern automated manufacturing environment.
The RoleWorking on a Panama shift pattern covering days and nights, you will be responsible for:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Reactive breakdown support
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Continuous improvement activities
Supporting production to maximise equipment uptime
Root cause analysis and reliability improvements
Working on automated production and packaging equipmentEquipment & MachineryYou will be working on a wide range of manufacturing and packaging machinery, including:
High-speed automated production lines
Conveyors and material handling systems
Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
PLC-controlled machinery
Vision inspection systems
Industrial drives and motors
Automated assembly equipment
Packaging and process machineryRequirements
Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering
Multi-skilled maintenance background
Comfortable with electrical fault finding
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or similar environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits
