The Company
We are currently working with a leading 3PL logistics organisation with over 100 sites across the UK. This role will be responsible for a business unit that spans four sites in the North.
We are actively recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join their extensive team on an interim basis. This is a truly generalist HR Business Partner position bringing that happy mix of operational support and strategic projects.
What you will be responsible for?
Establish strong relationships and partner with key stakeholders (GM's and Ops Directors) across all four sites.
Partner and negotiate with site unions
Roll out a needs analysis with senior stakeholders to understand the demand and challenges from the business unit.
Manage complex ER casework with the support of the wider HR function.
Partner closely with the Talent function and support on local recruitment needs.
Influence key stakeholders and coach them on best practise to ensure a consistent approach.
Plan and roll out strategic projects based on the wider business goals and changes.
Support on succession planning, talent management, HR policies, HR data reporting and recruitment.
What do we need from you?
Previous experience operating at business partner level - ideally within a logistics or FMCG or Manufacturing environment
Experience working in a unionised environment
Ideally qualified to CIPD level 5
