Care Coordinator

Based in Bradford

Salary up to £26,000 per annum

Are you a compassionate and experienced Care Worker ready to progress?

Hales Homecare is looking for a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you’ll help shape care delivery, support staff and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage new service user referrals from social workers and private clients.

* Allocate Care Workers to Service Users, ensuring effective rota planning and workload balance.

* Answer and monitor incoming calls and provide support to care staff and supervisors.

* Maintain accurate records of Service Users and Care Workers, including updates for hospital/respite stays.

* Coordinate cover for holidays, sickness, and emergency calls.

* Process weekly timesheets and payroll amendments.

* Conduct reference checks and ensure DBS/safeguarding compliance before employment.

* Support recruitment and training efforts in collaboration with the Branch Recruiter and Trainer.

* Ensure office policies, procedures, and systems are followed.

* Deliver care and participate in on-call duties when required.

The ideal Care Coordinator must have:

* Experience in rostering/scheduling within domiciliary care (preferred).

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Strong logistical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.

* Confident oral and written communication skills.

* Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.

* A QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Management or willingness to work towards it.

* Hands-on experience in domiciliary care delivery.
