Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals committed to supporting vulnerable children and adolescents, providing them with stability and care.

About the Role:
As a senior residential suppor worrker your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality support to children in residential settings. You will work closely with teams to promote well-being, ensure safety, and help young people develop essential life skills. If you have experience as a Childrens Residential Worker and possess a genuine desire to create positive change, this role is perfect for you.

We can offer a salary of £30,160 + Sleeps ins (£60 per sleep in which totals around £7K over the course of a year) so you can expect an annual salary of over £37k. The Rota is set at least 4 weeks in advance with shifts between 8am-11pm with a sleep in and you will usually do 1 day on, followed by 2 days off.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people in residential care
Assisting with daily routines, including meal preparation, activities, and personal care
Monitoring and recording behaviour, progress, and incidents accurately
Building trusting relationships with children and promoting their development
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans
Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents
Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all timesRequired Skills:

Experience as a Childrens Residential Worker or similar role
Full UK driving Licence
NVQ level 3 in residential care, or working towards this
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compassionate and patient attitude
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations
