Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people aged 8–17 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role:
You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive home environment, helping young people thrive. Working alongside the management team, you’ll support staff, lead shifts, and contribute to high-quality care planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, families, and professionals

*

Support and lead staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

*

Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of all young people

*

Contribute to care planning, reviews, and daily activities

*

Maintain accurate, compassionate records

*

Act as shift leader and support team operations when required

Requirements:

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)

*

Experience working with children with SEMH needs

*

Strong communication and leadership skills

*

Commitment to safeguarding and professional development
