We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing civil engineering team delivering major infrastructure schemes across the South. Projects include a highways scheme near Folkestone and a large-scale Entry/Exit System at the Port of Dover.

Key Responsibilities

* Commercial management of civil engineering projects

* Budget monitoring and cost control

* Subcontract procurement and contract administration

* Preparation of estimates and cost reporting

* Valuation and agreement of variations (NEC contracts)

* Certification of interim and final payments

* Risk identification and mitigation

* Support dispute resolution processes

* Mentoring junior commercial staff

* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards

Requirements

* Experience as a Senior QS within civil engineering

* Strong background in highways / infrastructure projects

* NEC contract experience essential

* Strong negotiation and communication skills

* Excellent numerical and analytical ability

* Flexible approach with willingness to travel

* Full UK driving licence required
