Are you a Quality Technician, who is looking to work in a fast paced, global, market leading company?

Here at Innovative Technology, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our site-based Quality Assurance team based in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The role overview:

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the business to drive progress towards a goal of achieving zero product quality issues and zero customer complaints for production quality issues.

We have a diverse range of products at development stage so you can expect variety in this role as we continue to serve a demanding global market.

Responsibilities of our Quality Technician:

Inspection and verification of components and products against specifications, drawings and standards

Raise and report product nonconformances from inspection activities and lead problem solving activities to drive the implementation of preventative actions

Investigate and analyse product nonconformance data and drive problem solving activities with the Production, Production Engineering and CI departments

Conduct internal audits against the requirements of ISO9001

Produce reports for the Quality Assurance Manager

Communicate quality issues to all departments

Essential Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 years’ experience in a quality inspection or similar role

Understanding of ISO9001

Literate with Office 365 applications

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experienced in reading, understanding and measuring components using technical drawings and specifications
